A small German company based in Bavaria. The fashion designer Isabella Scherbaum-Bakioglu is behind the FERBELLA brand. For years she worked as a freelance creative director in the fashion industry.
During this time she also had the unique opportunity to work with designer and fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld for several seasons.
Karl Lagerfeld’s maxim from those days “There is nothing new, you just have to reinterpret it” gives her the courage to realize ideas to this day. This is how Isabella Scherbaum-Bakioglu fulfilled her dream of designing her own handbag collection.
Because, like almost every woman in this world, she loves handbags. Handbags are much more than just a fashion accessory or a container for important items. Many women also associate them with feelings, memories, secrets and their own personality.
All FERBELLA bags are handmade with love and great care in a small, limited edition in a specialized master company, between 3 and 10 pieces per colour.
